Re: Browser Bugs
When Blogger opens a comment page in a separate window within one instance of Opera ... the bookmarklet seems to work until you try to submit the comment ... an error is displayed and you have to reload the page just to submit the comment (the bookmarklet won't work in this case.)
However, whenever Blogger uses the same window (rather then opening another) for comment entry, then the bookmarklet works wonderfully even in Opera.

Re: Browser Bugs
We now that there are quite some problems with pop-up comments. The main issue is that out code can only work on a single page (or window), because of security issues. Thus, when commenting in a pup-up, we have the problem, that we don't get all the information that is required.
With the new version of the bookmarklet, you should be able to add the missing information manually, though. Can you tell me more precisely what error you get and on which blog?

Re: Browser Bugs
I fear that this might not have something to do with the new opera version but with the new bookmarklet we released. We have a small issue that if the automatic extraction fails, then nothing at all happens. We are currently working on fixing that, though.

Re: Browser Bugs
With IE7 Beta 1 on a Windows Vista Beta box any coComment which I attempt to post results in "stack overflow" errors and constant requests to login. It reports that there may be an issue with cookies. Maybe they've changed the cookie handling in this browser/OS combo.

Re: Browser Bugs
Hi there,
I am trying to add coComment Bookmark Plugin into Opera 9TP2. But instead of showing the button, it displays entire <script>. And when that is pressed during comment, nothing happens.
I had then tried in Firefox, it worked. But I want to get this in Opera, as I use it as my Primary Browser.
Can anyone advice some soultion to this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Browser Bugs
It doesn't do anything in Opera. I am just clicking on the button for one hour, but it doesn't work.
In Firefox it is ok.

Re: Browser Bugs
For IE you have to define www.cocomment.com as a trusted host, otherwise the login does not work properly (because of cookie handling). I don't know if the same problem appears with IE 7, though...

Re: Browser Bugs
No support for SeaMonkey. I can't use it, and I'm not going back to Firefox.

Re: Browser Bugs
The cocomment bookmarklet used to work perfectly in Opera (at least in my experience). Recently, however, it displays the "posting comment" dialog and just hangs. I can't get it to work unless I highlight the comment after posting and then click the bookmarklet. The default behaviour doesn't seem to work.
I'm running Opera 8.52

Re: Browser Bugs
When you replace a %20 to spaces the bookmarklet works in Opera 9 beta.

Re: Browser Bugs
Good to hear. I have to check if the %20 is really necessary for the other browsers. Maybe we can leave it and it works everywhere.... (if the world would just be that simple...)

Re: Browser Bugs
I tried this on Firefox 1.5.0.3 and it disabled all my submit-like buttons. For example, I was not able to attach files on yahoo mail.

Gunz, what did you try? The bookmarklet or the extension?

Re: Browser Bugs
I stand corrected. It just started working for me. ![]()
Now, I've got to remember which one I used. I think it was the one for IE.
